British Gas have capitulated and dropped their electricity hike by a big bite, even lowered the gas charge while at it. Phoning the buggers worked. OK. I am hanging on and if work picks up again, I’ll ride on for a few more months.

Sorry to hear that things are tight Ray. Have a good look to see what else you can cut e.g. Council rates reduction for single occupancy (if that is now the case). See link.
