I was actually praying to God for helping me with activating my account finally so I can ask this question in here, but I finally solved the mystery last night and my account gain access this morning.

PsYcHe, you serious !? Good to know. That would be the last thing I need right now, another repair, I've got enough for this week. It started from a Longlife service last week inc. break fluid, plugs and all other bits, on top of it alternator belt, air con service, then they found a radiator leak and cracks on the suspension arms (bushes), so 4x upper ones in total. All that pleasure £1600
I'm actually dropping car tomorrow to do the rad and suspension arms. This is just crazy.
...and then that Dynamic mode issue was so annoying, thanks god it was only a silly thing

Yup..A8_Tony's did it, luckily he was able to swing by mine before he drove back down south and I coded it out. You'll be able to get someone with VCDS to look at other faults now though, so less worries on what it could be and the horror of knowing what it actually is

This thread just saved me a massive amount of anguish! Dynamic greyed out after fitting a couple of new tyres and no fault codes

I'm an idiot. But at least now I know both that and also not to accidentally engage Towing Mode when disengaging Jack Mode

Thanks!

477k miles to the moon and back. 238k to go and between them they'll have made it!

LOL, I remember this after I replaced my control arms. It appeared to fix itself but I bet in reality it was this getting unset!
TBH, this is where Audi is worse than BMW or Mercedes of the same vintage. They tell you far more vehicle status and technical messages on the screens and it should say Towing Mode or have a symbol on the suspension screen or even the cluster DIS.
