Sorry, should have asked earlier - why do you think there's a Scottish connection? (its just that friend's son is in the RAF and is into cars - he has a Mustang -and is based at Odiham but his family live in Scotland and I was thinking that he might know someone with an interest in such cars).

Other thought: Couldnt be a certain SAR helo pilot based in Anglesey could it? (He has a certain German heritage!)

Guy, I thought you'd only just bought it back from someone local. At this rate, half of the registered keepers will be you!

But I'll keep my eyes open - it should be easy to spot with those exhausts!

Current mods: solar sun roof, 20mm rear spacers, 15 mm on front, red brembo callipers, 6k headlights, rear view camera, engine remap, alloy dash dial rings, alloy navi rings, tt/phaeton pedal upgrade, (and custom matching foot rest) dension ipod interface & parrot hands free kit (both fully hidden), av input, tv in motion switched thro' PF switch in blanking plug right of steering column, Audi 'quattro' sill covers, repositioned centre console switches, radio clock, .
Planned mods: auto-dimming rear view mirror, dash cam (as steamship's), fit the ski hatch, refit philips drl's (or maybe not - nope, definitely not - horrible botch!).

He is a helicopter pilot in the raf in scotland is all I know and yes jim .. I know but im finding it harder than anticipated not having an 8 that I can readly drive when i please so if I have to then I will do what ever it takes to get it back even if I have to call every raf base know to man to track him down

You could pay DVLA and find out. You can use any old excuse, they only want your money. ~£5 IIRC.

Just had response from my friend whose son is RAF helo aircrew and a car nut but no joy in identifying a possible owner. Sorry.
