Hi Carrot Chomper,

I have never seen a wooden wheel on a d2 before apart from one by a guy in poland which looked quite good. I think had the central plastic been more black rather than grey and the wood had matched the rest of the wood in the 8, it would have been great. I think that as it's slightly out on both, I would stick with the original but can completely see why you wanted to try going down this route...
