Suppose everyone will have a different opinion and experience of each A8, and each model and engine has its more common faults.
See, personally I loved my 3.7 D3. It didn't miss a beat in the +/-40,000 miles I did in it, and it was such fun but I wouldn't say no to owning a nice high spec 4.2TDI like PsYcHe's on here. Hunting for a nice D2 S8 though right now so....
