Weather looks like it'll be kind to us:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2652591

Bad shorts, too-tight T-shirts (I'm not getting fat, it shrunk in the wash) and milk-bottle white legs will be the order of the day!

And something similar for the blokes.

If anyone's passing through Bristol on Sunday morning on their way home, the Avenue Drivers Club meet on the 2nd Sunday of the month in Queen Square (not far from the Arnolfini water front area)

http://www.avenuedriversclub.co.uk/index.html

Apologies if there are already suggestions for on the way home things to do - I can't make it but thought I'd mention as my dad will be in attendance with our BX 16 Valve which was taxed for the summer last weekend so will be getting its first outing of the year.

Have a good time folks - wish I could be in 2 places at once!

Aha! - so although you're now living north of the border, you've not truly gone native yet then, otherwise your legs would be blue-white, not just milk-bottle white....

hello all - if I end up picking my new vehicle up as planned, would I be welcome to join you for an hour or so for a coffee on the Sunday morning at some point ?

Gloucester isn't too bad a trip from nr Stratford Upon Avon and would be great to meet up with other owners.

Man, of course you'd be welcome!

We love new members almost as much as we love their new cars!

I'll send you a PM with my mobile number so you can call and check where we are.

Strictly speaking, this is Mike and Neil's event, but they're pretty busy with the organising of last minute stuff, so I hope they won't mind me stepping in here.
