PS The weather on the drive South down the M40 was atrocious, as I'm sure everyone else experienced, but the new winter tyres (and the S8 of course) behaved impeccably and felt totally "planted". The only vehicle that actually overtook us, in a particularly awful stretch, was a VW Bora! I passed it a bit later so I think it must have been going flat out all the time.

Hi guys,
echoing everyone else, a great meet, many thanks to the organisers. Lovely to place so many more faces to names!! Great to see everyone yesterday
 old and new faces Think that was the best attended meet of the year, certainly of the ones I made it to? Calendars are ace Guy, glad you had some spares! Maybe a3 as an option for pre-orders next year? The a4 will go nicely in the study Glad I left when I did - didn't get home till 5.30 thanks to idiots on the m40 and m25 Till next year Adrian
