AMI and connectors were less than £200 at TPS last time I was there just before Christmas.

Although I bought mine from the states. Very easy installation, no coding, bluetooth works very well (with MMI and wheel-mounted buttons). I chose this when I bought my D3 because a) I was led to believe that the "audi" route to upgrade from the armrest - phone to bluetooth was either difficult or impossible - according to who was discussing it. the AMI would also have been required to get ipod functionality and a) wasn't available where I am and b) would have made the installation a good bit more expensive. This "one shot" plug-and-play device solved both problems simultaneaously

I got a similar module to mobridge fitted on my 2004 D3, it is a Kufatec unit supplied by Fiscon UK. £375 approx + fitting. Allows music to played using A2DP. Very happy with it and works just like a factory fit.
