Hmm. Mrs 66 just got back from the garage. They will send an estimate, but pointed out that the insurance company may consider a repair not economically viable.
Got side swiped by a moped. Bottom section of o/s rear door, most of driver's door and os front wing will need a respray. Moped foot rest seems to have hooked the bottom corner of the driver's door, as that's sitting proud (but well into the frame at the top). So maybe new door mounts. Possibly a new door skin too. Plus o/s wing mirror destroyed. Bugger.

When my s8 mirrors were stolen they also cracked drivers window (£300), took both mirrors (£450ish each, plus glass) and needed paint on front passenger side door blended into front wing and rear door. Bill came to about £2250 iirc so not a cheap fix. Just an indicator of what it could be so really depends on the value of your car

I paid £100 for two genuine caps painted, so that sounds a bit steep - depends on spec of the car as well - does yours have memory seats and/or auto dip glazing?

Personally I have an auto-dim interior mirror (which I like and fitted myself) but not the external ones. I don't miss them and find the standard tinted ones are fine. As for GPS I've actually replaced mine (it failed) with a smaller (black) one mounted at the very bottom of the rear screen. Works fine and is effectively invisible with the old coloured one still in place. Bit of wiring involved in and around the boot lid, so if this fails I'll check on eBay for a "real" one.
