Never seen blue OEM. From what I have seen in Audi's not just 8's but in general there are Boge and Monroe OEM shocks, Boge are red and Monroe black. Blue could be Bilstein aftermarket maybe(and yellow). There should be colored markings- dots or stripes on them.
Springs are all black with colored dots on them. But that's just from my personal experience, I am not doing them every day. So there could be blue OEM's as well. Can You read part numbers from shocks and dot colors on springs? |

4D0 513 031 H used on 1994-1999 A8/A8Q with sports suspension and S8 up to chassis no 4D-T-011 000 with engine codes AEW(3.7) and ABZ,AEM,AGH(4.2),and AHC(S8). So basically they are from PF S8 or A8 with sports suspension.
4D0 413 031 AR used on 1994-1999 A8/A8Q with sports suspension and S8 engine codes AEW,AKJ(3.7),AFB(2.8),ABZ,AEM,AGH,AKG(4.2),and AHC,AKH(S8). Says marked red so should be all red or with a red mark somewhere. So basically they are from PF S8 or A8 with sports suspension. I can see there are 1 white and 2 (4D0 411 105 BD) or 3 (4D0 411 105 BE) silver dots on springs which could be on variety of combinations with sports suspension with or without aircon, only with auto gearboxes and depending on chassis number and with front axle weight category 10 or 11 which depends on optional equipment fitted. |

Just like to clarify that 45 different springs on front and 28 on rear that I said before are not actually 45 and 28 springs but different combinations which determine which springs are used. Some of the springs repeat on several combinations so there is less actual springs but still a lot.

I think they will fit physically but they were not designed for FL car so probably will be different spring rate and shock bound/rebound rate might be different, could be better or worse also depending on what you were trying to achieve, I guess better handling.
For better handling I would start with stiffest rear anti-roll bar and poly bushes for it to reduce understeer, then front arb with poly bushes, then rest of bushes changed to poly and last fully adjustable coilovers. If I understand correctly you already had sports suspension in which case it does not make much sense to change it for another OEM suspension. |

You won't have a problem with A8 Parts, they are fantastic and will sort it out for you in the very rare case they supplied the wrong ones. Your car may have PF suspension as it is a very early facelift.
