Mines "in dock" right now.
I'm expecting a bill around 2 grand, including a £500 pair of top front suspension arms (bushes gone).

top arms at 500 a pair? they made out of gold??

pretty sure a full set all round swapped shouldn't be much more than 600 quid.

Default top arms

I think someone has priced in the trouble with taking out the pinch bolts. Otherwise arms on top should set you back 200 pounds max....then its probably 300 pound to removed the pinch bolts....cos everything else is easy!!!!!!

The arms were £91.98 each.
Labour was slightly more than the parts - they did indeed have quite a battle to do it.
Plus VAT.

Then there were both C-links, and a wishbone, link arm & control arm.
Rear pads and assorted other bits and pieces - pipes, filters, seals, bolts etc..

Plus a load of expensive engine oil.....

Aren't credit cards wonderful?

I had some from ebay 150 notes for the full set of 8 arms, so ok they're not om quality but i will change them again when i have to. Just keep the pinch bolts well lubed. It's a job that can be done on the drive with basic tools, just make sure your socket set has an 18mm socket.
