i must say that having viewed some other forums (fora?) and seen such exchanges as in the example above, I was hesitant about using this one when Jim recommended it. But I can say from my short experience that it is friendly and extremely helpful place which never resorts to personal abuse, ridicule or spitefulness - and I have read most of the threads on here. You are in the right place Chan110 - welcome.

Indeed - banter for those 'in the know' but as an intro to a site, it doesn't really set an appropriate tone for a newbie. Bit too playground for me....
