Many thanks for that but took Nollywood's advice not to stress and not to use use WOT! Got home in just under 6 hours! EMS light still showing but will get it checked out.

VMT to you and Mike for the weekend. Both of us really enjoyed it. Will be back for more!

I can connect it up and do the scan, clear the faults and see what comes back after that. You can post the results on here and the experts will be able to advise

Well, John (47p2) sorted me out with a scan this morning and it looks like the advice from all above was right, It looks like an intermittent cat bank 1. Cleared the fault and it hasnt returned (yet). Some of the other faults may well be from the previous owner's (The Laird) issues with a central locking pump (I hope); a level sensor (known and awaiting a part; horn (poss batteries - mentioned in a thread on beeping from the boot area a few days back); a parking sensor (poss an old issue? - Jim replaced a faulty one).

Many thanks to all for advice and john for his time and help.

Glad to be able to assist
I guess you'll just have to wait and see if the light comes on again

That's the fun bit with these.. Waiting to see if it comes back.

The intermittent faults, I could leave too, they do crop up now and again.

I'll probably be up doing the wiring on the Laird's solar roof soon enough, so will be able to do a follow up scan if needed then.

That would be brilliant. I shall try and take you up on that.
