Afternoon all
Haven't got this fixed as yet as I have been off the road for a week managed to pick up some rotton virus/bug which floored me for a few days, courtesy of my 14 year old daughter who passed it on . Not what I expected for fathers day  . However as I am now getting back to "normal" I have been pondering the parts I need for the job. To be honest it hasnt stopped pouring down with rain to have given me a chance to look at it anyway! Has anyone sourced their pads from GSF they list two set one standard and one premium both at good prices with free delivery and 10% off at the mo. According to the details they are all made by ATE I think they are fitted to my motor at the moment as I can see the logo on the pad. Also are there any good independant garages around Burton Upon Trent /Tamworth which anyone can recommend for the pads swap? I could do the fronts myself having looked at them but the rears, as already pointed out, need someone with the right gear. any pointers thoughts appreciated cheers Glyn

Quick Update
Managed to find a local Audi Independant which was in actual fact walking distance from one of my offices Had the brakes done yesterday and as it was it turned out to be the fronts. All done for £128 genuine parts  ! Quite pleased with that. Best Audi price was double that!They checked the rears and said they have a fair amount of life in them yet. Also had a quote for a interim service as I had the big one last year and the count down has begun on the dash  they quoted around £150. So guess where I'll be going for that  These are the chaps if it's of any use to anyone else. http://www.liongarage.co.uk Very polite quick and car returned as I left it but with new pads! He had even given it a quick look over but found nothing of concern. They have all the latest diagnostic gear from what I could see and use only genuine parts. No car cleaning and leather sofa's  I am pleased to find someone local Cheers Glyn
