Look at the first one, no contest.
I posted it up a few weeks back - So there could well be some haggle room by now. The gearbox having been done is worth > £500 over any other A8 out there. The 20's are likely genuine on that 2002 car, and again add > £500 over one without. It has xenon plus, sensible colour, nice spec, and RNS-D isnt to hard to retrofit if you want the factory Sat nav look. The other one has a brown dashboard. Only really visible in the last photo, but I think its a really odd looking colour combo, along with non-standard wheels makes it one i'd avoid personally..

Interesting thoughts. Thank you.
Are there any chassis number checks or such that can be done to confirm whether this is a genuine FE or a more of home brew lookalike? Sorry for all the questions. I was so badly stung buying my Legacy TT that I now ask a million questions and no longer follow my heart...

Heywards Heath isn't far from me - if work done at QST/camspec/Brighton auto boxes then should be good. If anything recent at QST I can ask my mate if he knows the car. Looks a nice example and wears the miles well from the pics
Wheel works are sound as well - they've done a couple of the 20s on my s8 If this is a major hike for you I might be around if you wanted to compare an a8 to s8
