Yeah, PF for the win. Maybe A8 Parts will have one for me on the open day? Something cheap, nothing non quattro or non sport, black interior and 95/96 year, the shabbier the better. It'll give it character and me something to do. I'll bring an extra driver along with me to drive it back just in case.

Yes your right the lack of a throttle cable is very annoying.the ECU only giving me the throttle it wants not what I asked for! If I'd known before about how nannying it is I'd definitely have got the 32v. I've data logged it but it doesn't feel or sound like its giving me full throttle in first! Seems to have the most power in 3rd. It's normal for each gear to have its own map.

Using it in manual or S mode usually improves things I think

Default Rns c vs the rest

Having experience Rns c/ Rns d and Rns e....I have to say the navigation isn't that bad....it will still get you there....but I think in terms of sound quality the Rns c really does kick ass....

The Bose with Rns c in the 99 fl I have at the moment is awesome....just need to get a phatbox in there.

do i get my chance behind the wheel of the RS6 at last then aye

i have not started my W12 in about 10 Days now im thinking o better give it a run and clear the brakes off .. ive been using the A4 1.9 tdi and its witchcraft ... i put £20 in fuel the other day and did 240 miles on 20 quid !!!! Dam pin dose not move and has me questioning if the gauge is working lol ... then reality really hit me hard and i realized i have not had a car that has done more then 26mpg in over 6 years ... all my cars have been petrolaholics and going from that to a flat as a pig A4 avant that must be doing 60 mpg nearly is just mind boggeling

maybe one day when im grey and old there will be a balance of ooober power and 100mpg aye

Now you're talking Amar 96, shabby, rare blue interior ok you didn't say that, sport. You're talking Dezzy's 8 there. It's going to become more rare than a FE so will command a higher price tag
