I'm guessing your existing wheels' ET plus your new ones but heres my best guess at where a straight swap will come out -

i Used to run 10x20 ET35 with 255/35/20 front and rear on my A8 with KW2. I'd say thats just perfect stretch... Wider tires make it look like truck/tractor
 No rubbing or scraping even when car fully loaded

They fit, no rubbing and no catching the suspension arms. Happy days, now to by some tyres
 While I was at it i dropped the oil and changed filter, changed spark plugs and air filter.

Thats a result
have you checked it on full lock both ways? I'd note how much space you have too if you can as the new tyres will be straighter onto the wheels than the current stretched narrower ones

Yes full lock both ways and no problem
There was quite a bit of room so hopefully new tyres will be ok. Still not sure what size to run. My mate runs 245/35/20 on his RS4 and they look and handle great might go 255/35 if I can.
