Does anyone else out there have an Torque Scan running on their Android phone
I have Torque but unfortunately I do not have 4.2TDI

How many tests have you done, I found it very unreliable and it can show 2s difference in readings between runs even if it feels the same. It might be my phone or OBD adapter (HTC Desire and cheap ebay ELM327) that is causing the issue but I think it's more for fun the accurate measuring. I think for 0-60 measurements it uses only accelerometer and GPS data in the phone not the OBD. I think it gives those readings even without connecting to the car

If you have full version of VCDS it might give more reliable and accurate reading.

I'll try and give it a shot with VCDS at some point on mine if I ever get a minute.

I've found Torque fairly reliable. I did a lot of test in a Jaguar Super V8 and consistently got 0-100 mph in 11.7 secs, which agreed with what I would expect. Perhaps I am subconsciously comparing the A8 with that.

I have VCDS as well, so I should do a comparative measurement with that, but I do think the figures are accurate on a seat of the pants feeling. It certainly feels slower than my old D2 S8s, but on paper they are not that much different.
