I don't doubt you and HP for a moment, what I do know is that of all the people selling them out there on eBay and the like I'll pick the rogue trader
The one I bought had strange sized connectors on and started "flaking" within a few weeks of being fitted, fortunately I discovered A8 Parts soon after
