My cluster has all kinds of issues, I looked at replacement in July 2012. Here we are in October 2013 and I still have the original cluster. I have spoken to at least one tuner who has said its not possible to extract the PIN from the existing cluster due to the security. I just live with the cluster now and its little issues, it still does the important job of speed/rpm etc. perfectly.
