Coilover rebuild due to electro chemical reaction!
My 8 has been off the road for a couple of weeks due to my noticing an issue with the front suspension whilst I was swapping to winter wheels. Basically I have had to do a rebuild on the bottom seat of one of my H&R coilovers after finding some pretty severe damage on the seat due to an electro chemical reaction between the steel on the large diameter adjusting nuts and the anodised aluminum of the coilover bottom spring seat. The damage was pretty extensive to the existing seat, but only on this one side due to the use of a steel washer instead of the nylon washer normally supplied.
Will post some pics when I'm at the computer  All done now and car is back on the road ready for the Xmas snow!
