I agree - I changed mine to OEM last service after Oli18 did and it makes a massive difference

Just in contrast I have a "aero" blades from the dreaded fleabay.
24" drivers and 23" passenger; they work perfectly.

The tip of the passenger one just about touches the windscreen frame or back corner of the bonnet when parked, depending exactly how you adjust it when fitting. Operating is fine, no slapping or missed areas.
There are many different designs of aero blades with a lot of variation in the size of the end pieces, though most only protrude slightly beyond the end of the blade. Mine are larger than some but not a problem.

I've been using aero blades on my Focus for ages and as the blades were very similar sizes initially just tried one on the (old) Audi, with excellent results so switched over.
I haven't binned the OEM 22" arms/blades though, they will go back on if/when I dispose of it.

2003 D2 FL S8. Irish Green Pearl/Beige. Solar sunroof, auto-dim mirrors, electric rear seat functions and extended leather. Ski hatch retrofit. Aftermarket reversing camera. DVB-T and XCarlink now removed as redundant.
2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation". (Even rarer than a D2 S8!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!
Finally: gone, but not forgotten.....
1998 D2 PF S8. Agate Grey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, Tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)
1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon. Added Auto-dim mirror, Leather seats, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer.
And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

Can't argue with this. Using the OEM was best for me too. I know they don't look 'cool' but they definitely worked better than any aftermarket alternative.

I wouldn't buy cheap or non branded wipers either.

HPsauce, 24 & 23, I'm not surprised, I've had 22'' and thought they are just about fine until I got a pair of 24'' and now they are perfect, but thats on D3 tho
