I tried that and I could not see it anywhere .. I ticked every box known to man and still nothing ...

Suggestions very welcome at this stage

Could it be the software is not compatible with dvb-t ? ...

Its almost like the tv tuner is not installed .. however on vac come its clearly there but you can not adapt it or change coding it just is what it is

it could be software, it depends on what version the MMI is now. Early versions would have been analogue TV only which is what I have in my 2004. To install a lot of newer upgrades required the latest version of MMI (5570).

Have you been into (19- CAN Gateway)>(Installation List) and made sure all the boxes are ticked?
If all ok, just disconnect the battery for a few minutes to reboot the whole shabunkin.
