I have the Extended console allready but i have not fit it because it would not be a good if i have to take 4 passengers although i am itching to fit it .... also its a slightly lighter colour than the Platinum i think its more of a cream colour than Grey so im a tad unsure of it yet ...

Totally understand as it does take away the 5th seat.

What about Sirius Satellite Radio? It's a US / Canada option and won't be useful here, but it's an option!

3G retrofit has been done, its very costly though and isnt technically an option for your car

to be honest aside from the Potential Google mapps .. there is not a great deal that 3g MMI can do that a well equiped 2G system cant do id say ... i did look into it but there were too many hurdles .. like loosing the rear remote as the MMI control unit is different altogether with the Joystick on top and mine has the RF unit in it.

if i can get a full UK post code in this 3G system then i will try and do it i guess i could change the Joy stick thing on the Knob and still retain the function ... looks much better and more like HD rather than standard Quality

Theres quite a lot more you could fit, rather than copy and past I'll let you do the reading.

Even though I don't smoke anymore the Humidor has got be top trumps if you fit it, never heard of anyone having it yet

IIRC craigyb done a 2g to 3g mmi in an A8 before.
