Yes - I think if you are not worried about the time and date, then you can just give it a switched live. There are other settings (like G sensor, language etc) but I think it stores those settings.

As long you are happy that's what's most important, but we actually discussed one of them, same thing ish, but this is the original one with Ambrella processor which makes the difference and overall quality of components long term is what costs extra.

I noticed that more and more insurance co's are offering a discount if you have one fitted. 10% seems to be the going rate. So might be worth considering if only to save on your insurance premium.
Ideally with these things you would just fit it and forget it. Never touch it and hope you never need it..

Anywhere... The fuse box has a 10mm bolt fixing. I removed the bolt and put a ring connector on it and then put it back.

I would be tempted to forward that clip to Sainsburys.
As a Traffic Manager when I was working I would have appreciated information like that, mainly for training purposes. But then again if that driver was becoming known for problematic driving!!!!!!
