OK, I have been a bit of a spanner - so now I see that the Gearbox fluid is listed under Lifeguard 8 on the PDF if I am reading it right?
Would anyone have used this before: http://www.incarmotorfactors.co.uk/e...8-ag60-1l.html C |

The background is that I just purchased a 56 plate 2007MY A8 4.2FSI. It has 72k miles but no record of ATF or doff oils being replaced. The dealer has said they will get this done, however as I am a stickler for detail in terms of maintenance (I used to have a R35 GTR for 5 years ffs lol) I want to make sure that the correct fluids are used and work carried out correctly. Thanks again C |

OK, sorry for all the posts but I decided to keep it simple and take the car to Guy in the coming weeks. Spoke to him today, what a nice chap.

Well done Christer.
Unfortunately only just arrived home and found your posts. I would have told you about Guy. The only problem is distance. It takes me two and a half hours driving each way but consider worth doing.

Hi
It would be 1.5 to 2 hours each way for me, but as it only needs doing rarely I don't have an issue with that. In the past I have in the case of some cars travelled far further and more often in order to get things sorted the way I like them Thanks again for replies. Christer |
