1.4 G!!!!
Oh boy, I would like to experience that!

However I have to agree with the MT guys, Tesla needs to improve the interiors, Audi interiors are top of the game.
I have driven a P90 and whilst the interior is very nice it needs that little extra something since it is a £50k+ car.

Also I know its not going to happen, but buttons and small displays under the steering wheel are superior to a big tablet. When is Tesla going to let go of its gimmick?

They are very pretty.

Yesterday evening I was looking at (while passing with some friends) a BMW coupe-style machine on a garage forecourt near my house. Couldn't quite work out what it was, looked about 5-series size.
Turned out to be a 6-series but a 4-door with a sloping back but only a boot not a hatchback, so a saloon. Called a Gran Coupe apparently! The badge said 640d which I gather is actually a 3-litre diesel.

Really struggling to see what market segment that is aimed at.

2003 D2 FL S8. Irish Green Pearl/Beige. Solar sunroof, auto-dim mirrors, electric rear seat functions and extended leather. Ski hatch retrofit. Aftermarket reversing camera. DVB-T and XCarlink now removed as redundant.
2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation". (Even rarer than a D2 S8!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!
Finally: gone, but not forgotten.....
1998 D2 PF S8. Agate Grey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, Tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)
1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon. Added Auto-dim mirror, Leather seats, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer.
And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

Have you been living under a rock, they've been out since 2013!

Had a good look at them before settling on the Mercedes recently, beautiful interior, beautiful car, can be had with a choice of 3 different petrol engines as well as the diesel.

Probably.
I think I'm prejudiced by my youthful memories of the old 6-series (and the CS before that) so the existence of the new 4-door version had completely passed me by.
(I also confess to not really being a great fan of modern BMWs)

Now you're talking, I'd love an E24 6-series for the weekends
