Out for my first cycle of 2014 today
89 miles, 5141 feet of elevation and I managed to burn off 3135 calories

Well done!! Think I managed to drink 3000 calories Training starts back properly for me on Monday!

It's definitely tough.. but the Sufferfest videos do help get you through it.. Though nothing beats the road.. Unless it's hurricane season at the weekend, it's a 30+ mile run on Sat morning.

I did an hour at the velodrome this morning (Tuesday) and have another booked for Wednesday. Great way to keep the fitness level up through the worst of the weather

Need to sort some velo sessions out.. We managed to pick up some cheap spin bikes (don't ask!) and they're working a treat on the cold nights, just need to remember that you can't freewheel on them, nearly got thrown off first go lol
