MMI update CDs
I tried to upgrade the MMI to 5570, and failed miserably. The system reports that my upgrade discs are invalid. I tried two copies of CD1, burnt using different media with the same result.
It starts reading the META data before reporting the error. These are self burnt CD's using Roxio Toast on my mac, burnt at 4x speed. The discs burnt and verified successfully. I think being a 2004 car the current MMI version is very old, so there are two things I guess. 1) my discs really are no good, perhaps it does not like CDRs. 2) my MMI version is to old to upgrade to the version installed with CD1. I really want to get to 5570, so does anyone have an original set they can lend me, or perhaps if you are within a reasonable distance of Blandford I can drive over and we can do it wherever?
