Guys and Gals,
while I would love to be with you all this year, time and vehicles do not permit attendance this year. Oh the shame of it, a still poorly 3.7 A8, insult to injury, have had to resort to getting a Japanese car that "does what it says on the tin" and even chucks soot to the rear, how times have changed!!!! I'm hoping next year things will be very different, and, with a little luck, next years attendees can also meet Mrs. Trophy. Best regards to all, Steve

I'm afraid I have to bail on this guys, sorry
 The problems with my front suspension are not going to be resolved in time. Torque converter last year, broken hub this year. This car clearly doesn't like company  Maybe next year I'll bring the FE instead...

On second thoughts, with all Angela's luggage it might be a bit tight for space.....

DVB-T and XCarlink now removed as redundant. 2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation".  (Even rarer than a D2 S8!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!  Finally: gone, but not forgotten..... 1998 D2 PF S8. Agate Grey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, Tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors. e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon. Added Auto-dim mirror, Leather seats, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

Does anyone else want to declare that they would/may like to come to the meet?
I may know of a double room (or could be used as a single) which could become available at the meet hotel itself due to illness - just in discussions about this today with the current owner/booker. Anyone thinking of coming who would now like to throw their hat in the ring?
