Is there a tuning solution for the W12?
I'm looking for some kind of tuning option for the 6.3L W12 (2015 D4), is there anything out there?
In my ex-A4 the 2L engine was really flat and I fitted a RaceChip which made a large difference to the torque. Anything similar here?

A quick Google search on "can the audi a8 d4 6.3 be tuned" came back with numerous results, ranging from 90 Euro to £1,045 on the three that I checked, with the increase being between 40hp and 60hp and 675NM. The only thing I know about tuning NA engines is that the results tend to be small.

Thanks for the reply. Yep there are loads of hits from Google but when you dig deeper a lot of them don't actually do one, it's just keywords to get you to visit the site.
Nonetheless I have emailed 3 companies asking if it's a user-changeable part, as most they tend to be a 700-mile round trip.

Of the ones I browsed at, they state 'custom' upgrades, which to my limited knowledge of tuning involves them 'tweaking' the map files on the car in real-time. For the limited upgrade potential available, say ~10%, for me it's not a financial option to gain around ~20hp from a 260hp engine. Likewise, for the W12, ~50hp for £1k doesn't make sense to me.
