Default I bought the Carputech MMI display upgrade
I bought the Carputech upgrade for the MMI screen, received it this week. I think it might be beyond my level of patience and endurance for the cold & wet weather so I'm looking to get an auto-electrician to install it for me.
I went for the 12.3" 8Gb/128Gb version.

I'll post as it progresses.

looks similar to whats in the latest twin screen models. just not sure i like the fact it will be permanently on show, i like the lines of the dash in the d4 to be clean

I know what you mean, but some of the new models (Audi in general not just A8) don't have disappearing screens. I don't think it'll bother me.

I'm STILL looking for someone to install it :/

It's been installed for a couple of months now, it isn't without its small intricacies. I keep meaning to do a video on it, just need the time and the weather.
