Seal kits are cheap and fairly easy to do on the bench. If you buy the genuine one you get assembly lube as well which makes the job go a lot easier. Its not particularly expensive from TPS.

Still using it everyday until the CV-19 thing.
Worked from home for 7 week so it just sat there. Wife wanted to use it 4 weeks ago but the battery was dead Used it this week as now back at work - so yesterday gave it, its first wash in 8 weeks and I felt better for it   Better 8)

A little while ago, I took a trip to Andy’s place (pre coronavirus days) to buy roof bars. He let me have a drive in his TT - that’s why I bought one! His is a really nice, tight car, and I was instantly struck. After an 8 month search, I found a fully specced TTS in Glasgow, which needed some work, but I love it! Thanks Andy ��

Current mods: solar sun roof, 20mm rear spacers, 15 mm on front, red brembo callipers, 6k headlights, rear view camera, engine remap, alloy dash dial rings, alloy navi rings, tt/phaeton pedal upgrade, (and custom matching foot rest) dension ipod interface & parrot hands free kit (both fully hidden), av input, tv in motion switched thro' PF switch in blanking plug right of steering column, Audi 'quattro' sill covers, repositioned centre console switches, radio clock, .Planned mods: auto-dimming rear view mirror, dash cam (as steamship's), fit the ski hatch, refit philips drl's (or maybe not - nope, definitely not - horrible botch!).
