Not sad to admit it all, Whitney was great. I wouldn't say I was a huge fan, that place is reserved for Michael Jackson, but I respected her as an artist and still have her 'it's not right but it's okay' on my RNS E, and in my later years of high school listened to a few of her soppier songs, not going to admit which they were, but they are still on my old I Pod. Overall a great artist with a stunning voice, I wish her kid all the best. Someone posted this photo on Facebook, two 80s greats side by side. I really can't 'connect' with new music, the way I do with old, even though I was born in the 90s, I wish I was around in the 80s, sigh.

Love MJ got all his albums, and got to love the classics, il be honest when you hear of all the celebs that die ect it never bothered me i never batted an eyelid but when Michael died and i heard about it on the radio that was the first time that i really felt any emotion for a celeb passing away, my grand father was good friends with lady Dianna and at the time i did not understand what he felt when she passed away he cried his eyes out and he was a very proud man and not a sight id ever witnessed when i was growing up, but when Michael died a light bulb switched and i suddenly realized how he must of felt,

was a legend and is missed by many he paved the way for what is Motown and changed the course of music forever

His death broke the Internet, Google/Facebook and twitter crashed, traffic in Times square came to a standstill. He was # 1-9 in on I Tunes that week. Globally he was the most famous man on the planet, he has done tremendous amounts of good too, built loads of schools and hospitals in countries where they couldn't afford too, toured the world for two years sweating his but off, one of the most sold out tours in the world, and he didn't take a penny. It all went to charity. The media tried to portray him in a way which was untrue, the guy was a genius. He bought The Beatles when he was about 29, was the first black artist on MTV, has the biggest selling album of all time selling more then double the second best selling, he was also Musics first billionaire. He is consdiered the best dancer lf all time, Frank Sintra said 'I now know I have a successor'.
I'm not going to list all his achievements, the Guiness world book of records puts it best 'The most successful entairtainer of all time'.
