Welcome to the forum. We are becoming very multi national!
The rubber seal on the cambelt covers is not a critical issue. Fix it when yiu have time but it wont cause engine failure. CtL

ok thanks
is hard to troubleshoot this car...... Some things don't generate codes. my biggest headaches Car die after 30 minutes and only start after 12hs, it happened many times. I was the fuel pump...... Small hydraulic leak from the steering reservoir, was small and did not pay attention to it for over a year. ABS motor is under that and is not sealed, the leak kill it, I put a new sealed one. Do to price and availability I use many VW parts after checking the numbers (front suspension, disk etc) Do to age all engine connectors are cracked.... I run it hard and have some mods (I live in the 3r world...I want the benefit's) The engine have happy days and not so happy, d4 a8 and s4 are the normal meal and can reach 276km. |
