Hey everyone,
First, appreciate all the knowledge on the board. My D2 journey began this December with the purchase of my 2001 S8 that I've brought back home to Alberta, Canada, it's original location of purchase. I'm also Figure It Audi on youtube (https://youtube.com/@figureitaudi) and am documenting the cars rehabilitation on the channel and again, I benefit from all those who have been wrenching on these cars for decades now. Being most of you are closer to the original source of these machines, I'm looking for someone who has a car they're thinking of parting out, or who has eyes on local classified sites, that has a full set of OE parts from an original 6 speed S8. The gamut of: - Transmission, with shifting linkage - Front axles/shields - Driveshaft - Shifter assembly/trim - Pedal box, clutch lines, master - ECU is a bonus - + anything else associated that I've ignored Whether you are the seller, or a middle man that has found the goods, ultimately I would need this bundle of parts crated up and sent over. You can PM me here, on Instagram, or email figureitoutmedia@gmail.com to get in touch. Thanks -Steve |

I saw your first two videos on your S8 last night after reading this and thoroughly enjoyed them:
http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/showthread.php?t=16947 And I was trying to find a contact to message you last night but gave in ![]() As this is a UK forum, and no manual right hand drive cars were produced with manual gearboxes, there probably aren't too many folks here who can help you on that. Although there are probably international members who can. I'll send you a PM.

Update: I've got everything I currently know I need for the swap. My attention is currently (split, if I'm being honest, with my ongoing S4 projects) focused on the engine rebuild process, mainly with head work, and after everything is in the machine shops hands it'll be onto the subframe and suspension refresh for me.
It's tough to say who on which forums may also be the the folks who have reached out on IG with help but I've really appreciated all the people that have aided my information and parts searching since I started the S8 project. I'll need more of it in the future ![]() |
