Concert Head Unit
Quick question that someone may be able to help.
The A2 is 2004 with a Concert II CD Head unit, I need to take it out to do the buttons (Soft paint problem!) and connect up an interface to it. I do not have the code but I have read conflicting reports that the removal of the power will mean it needs the code. Anyone have any experience? I know for sure the RNS D in the S8 needs the code, but others suggested if its the same car the A2 with the Concert may be ok?

Only just seen this. In my experience the H/U has not needed the code when returning it to the same car. It's not the end of the world though, you can get the codes from eBay for about £5 if Audi don't want to be helpful.
