Default PS5 vs PS4s

Morning,

Im about to buy 4 new tyres for the S8 on 20" - so 255/35/R20

On black circles any feedback on the PS5 and PS4s? I PS4s are a little bit more and to be fair I think PS5 tyres will be more than sufficient.

Anyone running PS5?

PS4 and PS4s did not last that long compared to some other Michelin tyres, still quite long life compared to some other brands.

No personal experience with PS5 but compound is supposed to be better and longer lasting than PS4/PS4s and tyres should last for more miles even with lower starting tread on new PS5, I think ne PS4 is 8mm and PS5 is 7mm.

I've always sworn by PS4 on my S8 as summers (and PA4s as winters), and can't fault them, but I've never tried PS5s.

You can’t go wrong with either, they are soft so don’t be surprised with wear 4s definitely slightly better, in day to day driving you won’t feel the advantage it’s a big car so unless your remaking the ronin chase scene I’d go with the 5 because they are cheaper and just as good have look at the normal 4 too, latest compound has the velvet sidewalls which look nice, have look at sport contact 7 which are a very good new tyre, ( I work in the tyre industry, ran many “fast” cars on Michelin and similar)
