Would anyone know if these need coding to the car?

Which car? Is this for your D2 and in the wrong section or are you working on a D3?

D2, no - they just swap over.

D3 very likely has component protection

It seems it will have CP

thanks both. Its in the right section, whilst I do indeed have a D2, the other car whilst not an Audi does utilise the D3 A8 HVAC controls and is giving me aggravation

I don't know if Spyker used the heater controls tbh. They did use the D3 BFM engine though and a few other contemporary Audi bits.
