D3 Servicable shock bits
Gents Thanks for the feed back.
I am basically snookered here in Aus. There is one shock available in the country @ $4000.00 aus which is bull#$^t. Yet thanks to Borys I can get a set, YES a set from airdominance @$1600.00 Aus for the two shocks Air Freightd via DHL to my place in Aus for 280.00 Aus. That's 1/2 price for a set let alone 4K for 1. Thanks for the info Borys, I think I know what I am going to do. Regards Chris |

Hi all,
I have managed to get back to my little problem after some interuptions and have stumbled across this: http://www.air-suspension-shop.com/A...al-spare-parts Was wondering if anyone has installed one as this is what's leaking on my LF shock. Is the changeover as easy as it looks?????? If I can replace this I have solved my problem. As always any help greatly appreciated in advance. Chris, well found.
I have no experience here but the translation they have on their web page is very good, gives me confidence in their product. Good luck with this, after all €50 is a lot less than the other prices you were quoted.

Oooh. Certainly looks interesting. May be worth an email or two to ask about installation and so forth. Quality looks good, price isn't bad and it shouldn't be hard to airmail etc!

Hi All,
Thanks for the feed back. I anyone is interested my new pressure control valve for my LH front shock arrived the other day. See Below: Before I replaced the new unit I had a small leak around the gasket area where the unit attaches to the shock housing itself. This was sealed with a flexible adhesive sealant Sikaflex 221. The new valve was then screwed into place(no need for sealant tape etc as all parallel threads with o-rings). The Sika was given a couple of hours to cure the wheel put back on and started the car. It took a couple of minutes to re align itself height wise but all is good, just like a brand new system. So far so good. Can I suggest if you have leaks in this area this may well be the way to go. New pressure control valve - 50.00 euro. New seal kit for compressor - 25.00 pound sterling(because I stuffed it by driving vehicle). Once again thanks for the feedback. Chris.
