So not wanting to offend by "will you take this much?" how do you go about buying a car with no price and no offers accepted?

Do you have any photo's of the car?

Does the boot lock now?

So will you take 2500 for it?

Agreed. Not much point rambling on at great length about how wonderful your car is and how you want to sell it, then not actually bothering to provide a price..... If I wanted an 8 right now, I would just not bother to take an ad like this any further to try to find out exactly how much you want for it. You will have a better response if you provide the price you want!

I'd also suggest that you add the date and mileage when the cambelt was changed - it's not clear from what you've written, so a prospective buyer may be put off by the fact that this may need changed again...

Calm down guys, he's clearly copy-pasted the text from eBay ad, and on eBay you don't put the price on description. Cambelt change date and mileage is also provided. Price on eBay is £4800.

I have no relation the seller.

Thanks for your input. You're absolutely correct, I did copy and paste......and forgot to put the price on. I will attempt to add it

As stated in the ad - the boot works perfectly as a 'normal' boot, so therefore it does lock. Will electrically close and lock too. Just doesn't always want to open electrically.
Would I take £2500? One of us miles out! Maybe I'm high, but, I think £2500 is way out.

Hi. The cambelt change is listed on the ad under the service history. July 2009, at 88k.
It's clear I will have to sift through my ad again, and revise it, to make things clearer. I did just copy and paste this from my ebay ad, and forgot that not all the other details go down. I will maybe remove some of the 'rambling'.

Have I redeemed myself yet? I did rush the ad in this morning, and what with me having very little time, due to family commitments......oh look at me - rambling on again....
