Can we have it at the George III hotel so I can use a voucher? LOL

(If I don't go to this meeting then I will otherwise go to the "Westside Treffen" at Chalfont St Peter Cricket Club, which is a meet for any German makes / models especially VAG and currently has about 880 people going)

Yes, it is, if you can wait till Wednesday, I'll be posting up details then - I'm stuck (if that's the right word…) on Skye at the moment with very little connectivity

Right, here's the outline of the meet plan for this Sunday's select NW meet. This is very informal, flexible and not circular, since that turns out to be quite hard to do in the Forest of Bowland... so it's be a sort of T-shaped route, allowing people to join up either at the West side of the T (by Lancaster) if coming from the North West, or from the East side, if coming from Yorkshire (e.g. Darren/others, if appropriate)

(1) Start at Abbeystead Reservoir car park(around midday). This can be reached from the North West and the M6 as follows: take J33 exit for Lancaster. then A6 south towards Garstang, then taking left at 1st roundabout and following signs for The Trough of Bowland.

(2) Those meeting at Abbeystead will then drive east, following the river, and on through the Trough of Bowland to Dunsop Bridge (the official centre of the British Isles!), pausing there @ about 1pm for others and for 'photos (and possibly a quick drink/snack).

(3) We will then head north-east from there on the B6478 through Newton and Slaidburn to Stocks Reservoir. This will be the main meeting point to connect with anyone wishing to come from Yorkshire, and we'll meet there at around 2pm for around an hour. We'll stop there for the main photo shoot, then walk, if desired, or just chill/generally talk car bollocks, before:

(4) heading off south to Waddington for a Pub lunch at The Higher Buck at between 3 and 4pm (depending on exact timings on points (1) to (3) above). Then heading home in the appropriate direction afterwards.

The weather for Sunday looks ok (dry, but cloudy), so looking forward to seeing anyone who wants to come along then.

Confirmed so far are:

tintin (moi!)
Moltuae
tc4332
Audi Paul (tbc..)

All welcome - just add your name and I'll drop you a PM with contact numbers for the day.

Cheers

Stephen
