Question RSE PLayStation 2/ PS2 conundrum

Has anyone else got a PS2 in the boot that plays through the Rse TV’s?

Only the Right TV currently powers on so I had the boot apart earlier trying to find out why, I found 20meters of Composite cables wrapped up, a small box with most of the sticker missing but what I could read said ‘PS2 adapter’ and a lot of chopped and soldered cables.

From what I gather they have tapped into the DVD changer cable for picture and audio (which may explain why the DVD doesn’t eject or power up)

My questions are

1. Does that sound like a normal PS2 install

2. Where is the original RSE controller, would it still be installed?

3. There are 2 retrofitted add-a-fuse adapters in the front left (passenger) fuse box, I unplugged 1 of the and the PS2 and right screen powered down. I unplugged the other fuse and nothing happened? what could that power?

TIA Dudes
