Default Fuel Rail

Can I remove the fuel rail?
If so, how?
Does the full inlet manifold have to be removed to remove the injectors?
I've got the fuel rail unbolted and the connections to the injectors off. Do I just pull the injectors out?
Just wanting to remove the fuel rail so that I can get more access to the rear passenger side engine block hole as I need to put a strap through it.

Cheers
Andrew

If you have pulled all the clips that hold the injectors to the fuel rail put them back.
Once the fuel rail is disconnected from the high and low pressure lines and the bolts have been removed just use a large screwdriver to gently lever the injectors out of the manifold. They are only push fit. Start at the front and work to the rear on either side at the same time.

Bad news.
The injector cap snapped off on one of the injectors and is in the head somewhere.
I'm going to finish the subframe swap and then i'm guessing i'm gonna have to go hunting for it in the head.

So expect a thread asking for info on how to remove the head!

My dad was popping the injector that came to pieces so he is pretty mad at himself.
I dont really mind aslong as I'm able to fish it out.
Good opportunity to polish the head and get everything nice and clean!
