Default Light bulb types / Numbers

Hi There,

Probably a daft thing and i'd guess there is a sticky or something.....But what bulbs fit where ???

And specifically what bulbs fit the side lights. I had an error warning because someone has fitted an LED bulb (passenger) and a standard bulb on the other side. Guess it's throwing the range too, but the beep thing is irrirtating to say the least

Says 241 canbus on it. Not sure its the right size either, despite fitting

Ta,
Lee

Side is W5W-12V5W for all headlights.

I know you've just got your D3, but do you know what headlights you have? Twin halogen, xenon, bi-xenon, cornering?

Would imagine it's either twin halogen or xenon with halogen high beams which will both take the same sidelight bulbs as Matty said.

Got any pics of the car now you've got it with you?

Hi There,

8EC = Bi-functional headlight with gas discharge lamp, for driving on the left

This is what the build sticker says now that i've got a proper photo and had a look at things and stuff

I'm more interested in getting her running straight atm. Irritatingly someone has scratched her in the passenger side too, which i need to sort a bit. There a few things to touch up, sort and stuff but she is certainly fun

After a lot of polite asking It finally went in.....Admitedly i'd removed the bulb, lost the retainer, retrieved the retainer (thank goodness for flexie bendy magnetic retrivers), figured out how the retainer went on, cleaned the bulb, put glove on put bulb in, take glove off and fiddle.

Had loosened the reservoir nearby, and done the two torques on the lamps, but it's tight, extra tight with an LPG controller in there too!

I really don't understand why they make a serviceable and legal requiement (particualrly france etc) into such a stupid job!

still got the headlight range warning, but at least the sidelight works properly and theres no semi-constant ding!

(interesting someone has dropped a similar led bulb into the drivers housing down near the bottom.....another day!)
