Default Bought ami and dvd changer for the d3 s8

Ok so I went and got hold of a couple of units, ami and dvd changer to replace my standard 6 cd changer.
I can find looms online for the ami/cd so sounds like a 1 for 1 swap taking cd changer out and plugging in the AMI. Anyone done this and am i right? what i cant seem to find though is a dvd loom/harness. Anyone bought one? And whats involved in the fit?
Cheers in advance you sexy buggers.... 😂

I dont know re the DVD Changer side of things, but if you wanted to you can pull the 6 stacker and put the AMI in its place.
Plug the MOST loop in and give it power and it will work - plug and play basically.

I kept the staker in mine when I added the AMI, I thought its nice to have the option for CDs in this digital age.
(Plus i ended up updating the MMI to 5570 a few months after installing the AMI)

If adding the AMI to compliment the staker, you need the bridging cables for both the MOST loop and the power.

I dont know about the DVD changer - so Ill leave that for someone else to confirm

Have you photos of the connections on the DVD player? Otherwise bring it along Sunday and we'll take a look over breakfast

Is the part number 4H0035108_? I ask because the only DVD player I could find with an 8 pin power is an MMI 3G version.
