I just LOVE ming blue.....
I'd always had a soft spot for it, and if Im honest the colour alone sold my current car to me more than any other aspect but ming blue really is special....
In the dark it looks black, in broad daylight it looks blue and randomly for no apparent reason whatsoever it comes off purpley looking..... I've popped on a set of 9 spoke 20's now, and she's looking a lot better. If I could just get 2 minutes to wash her for a decent photo I'd post some up. I've stalled fitting the electric rear seats at the moment as its going to need all the carpets out (to run the vast amount of wiring) and its going to need the LPG tank out of the boot to gain access to the rear of the seat back.... But, alcantara pack is looking great, and I maintain that the car is a bettr quieter ride with the sound absorbing alcatara everywhere.... Enhanced leather is mostly there, just need to change the door cards, but no point doing that until I've run the extra wiring as there will be extra controls going into all the doors apart from the drivers. Solar sunroof was fitted just in time for winter... OOps..  never mind, its one less job to do in summer....Rapidly moving up my list of prorities is in car entertainment as 6 Cd's and radio 2 just isnt cutting it when doing high mileage...

I was very tempted by this nice 2.8 non quattro I was offered last week by a friend of mine who is getting a Phaeton 3 litre diesel. its got a nice spec including sat nav and parking sensors etc but no heated seats, grey leather interior and about 160,000 on the clock (2000 on a W) having had 2 cam belt changes and a new gearbox at 100k and it felt pretty sorted to drive. He wanted about £1600 for it and I thought it was good value at that!
