Re-programming 'switchblade' keys
Visiting France and the local supermarket keycutter promised he could change the batteries in the key fob with no loss of function. Not so. The remote fnctions stopped working. Happily the RFID that talks to the ignition system was unaffected. Doors and starting operated manually. I found the following link which solved the problem: thanks Craig,
