Default Finite Thirst vs Man Math

Well, I've concluded that there is a point at which (aside from leaking it) it doesnt really matter how much bigger your engine gets, it not really going to go much less than 20mpg average.

My A8 was just above this, my S4 is slightly above this, and I note that 6.0 W12's, 5.2 S8's and the 5.0 Twin Turbo RS6 all still struggle to chew up any more fuel than I am right now.

So, by my man math, I could buy any of these cars, and they wouldnt cost me any more to run....

Hmmm......

I agree with Ian. My change from V8 4.2 to W12 6.0 has not changed my average fuel consumption( unless i drive round the ring and get 5.9mpg) but i am sure anybody can get the same from 4.2

Not too keen a W12.... S8 would be more likely if I were looking into D3's.

C6 S6 is interesting to me at the moment...
