not much clearance between those wheels and arches, suspect first speed bump would be game over, otherwise I do actually think its not too bad

i see them steering wheels for sale all the time on ebay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-A2-A3...item4cf67ad21a

i have thought about it as all you have to do is fit your air bag to it with the audi rings

but i did not want to loose the heated wheel and also the multi function controls

Thats a flat bottomed B7 RS4 Alcantara steering wheel... Dual stage airbags, so not adivsed on a D2 - Clive bought one with the intention of a retrofit IIRC, but binned the idea after many horror stories

The ones on Ebay are C5 RS6 alcantara paddle shift wheels, same as Oli has fitted, but the alcantara version.. - Will fit nicely, but you'll need an airbag - and thats the really pricey part.

I think it looks nasty, never understood the craze about going stupidly low, and fitting narrow, low-profile tyres to super-wide rims. One of my buddies is really into this, his 1979 Rabbit has had several blow-outs. 9"x13" rims with 165/45x13 rubber.

Very uncomfortable, and the sidewall's under so much strain, the slightest chip from a sharp stone simply causes an explosion.

The lowest I would go with height reduction is -30mm.
